Brother Vest is a military veteran who served in the U.S. Army and served overseas until being involved in a grenade explosion ending his military service. He later studied and became an ordained minister and is registered with the National Association of Christian Ministers and is also registered with the Evangelical Convention. Brother Vest is continuing his studies in Theology online with the Dallas Theological Seminary with concentrated studies in Soteriology (the study of Salvation) and Pneumatology (the study of the Holy Spirit). Donald Vest is married to Renee (Deloe) Vest. They have four children and four grandchildren.

Renee Vest has several years of business management and owned her own business, Finders Keepers Retail Thrift Store a community outreach thrift store with her husband for 13 years. Finders Keepers worked with local churches and other organizations to help those in need in their surrounding area in both Alabama and Georgia. Her experience in business operations made her an obvious choice for Administrative Assistant. Her husband is Bro. Donald Vest.
